What is IPL

Intense Pulsed Light, also known as IPL.

How does Silk Ease Skin’s laser hair removal technology work?

Our devices use advanced IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) technology to target the hair follicle at the root. This process slows hair regrowth and leads to long-lasting smooth skin, without cuts, irritation, or ingrown hairs.

Is IPL laser hair removal safe for all skin types?

Yes, our devices are designed for safe use on most skin tones. However, IPL works best on light to medium skin tones with dark hair. Please check the skin tone & hair color chart in the product description before purchase.

Can I use the device on my face?


Yes, you can safely use our IPL devices on the upper lip, chin, and jawline (avoiding the eyes and eyebrows). Always wear protective eyewear provided in the kit.

Is there any downtime after treatment?

No, there’s no downtime. You can resume your normal activities immediately, but avoid direct sun exposure on treated areas and use sunscreen.

What areas of the body can I treat?


You can use our devices on legs, arms, underarms, bikini line, face (below the eyes), and back. Avoid tattoos, moles, and areas with recent sunburn.

Is this a one-time investment or will I need refills?


Our devices are designed for long-term use and offer up to 999,999 flashes. No cartridges or refills are required.

Can men use Silk Ease Skin’s hair removal devices?

Absolutely! Our devices are effective for both men and women.

How Long Will It Take before i start to see results


Most customers begin to notice a reduction of hair after just 3-4 treatments, with complete results after 12 treatments. However, results vary from person to person.

Does IPL work on all hair colors?


IPL technology works best on darker hair colors such as black, dark brown, and medium brown because the light targets the melanin (pigment) in the hair. Very light blonde, red, grey, or white hair contains little to no melanin, so IPL may not be as effective. For the best results, we recommend using IPL on naturally darker hair tones and lighter to medium skin tones.

Does IPL remove hair permanently?


IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) treatments can significantly reduce hair growth for the long term, but they are not considered 100% permanent hair removal. With consistent use, IPL can put hair follicles into a dormant state, meaning the treated hair falls out and regrows much more slowly and finer over time. Many users enjoy smooth, hair-free skin for months, and only need occasional maintenance sessions to keep results.

How long does shipping take?

Shipping is free for all orders within the UK.

Can I cancel my order after I've made a purchase on the website? 

We offer immediate order cancellations up to a limit of 12 hours after purchasing - so if you change your mind within that time - send us a message and we'll cancel and refund you in full as soon as we get your request.

How do I return or exchange an item?

Our return policy lasts 7 days beginning only when our package is delivered to your address.

We will accept any returns for all undamaged items within 7 days to guarantee customer expectations and ensure satisfaction of your purchases.

We're confident our premium curated products selection will meet or exceed your expectations but if you want to make a return - please contact our support team at contact us page and we will respond as soon as possible to assist with the process.

How can I track my order?

We will send you a tracking number to your email once your package has been shipped. Please track your order using our tracking page.

What types of Payment do you accept?

What if the item I ordered arrives broken or damaged?

We'll make it up to if you in the case that it does. If you discover a flaw or fault in the item please contact us within the first 24 hours of receiving that item in original condition and we'll work it out with you.
